FEATURED: UChicago Medicine Magazine

My painting was featured on UChicago Medicine magazine! I started this painting a year ago and the main themes were physiological healing as a metaphor for emotional healing, and viewing memories not as the enemy, but as scaffolding to be built upon for healing in the future. The sentiment was fully realized in my heart back then, but the events of the past couple months have put us all in hard physical and emotional places, making that metaphor just that much more relevant.
